During the 3rd quarter of 2026 we will try to arrange for a few spots for of our AST members to join players from the Senior PGAs of Australia & New Zealand for the planned New Zealand swing in September, please do let me know if this might be of interest to any of you. Success on the AST and the ASEAN PGA tour will provide ASEAN’s leading professional and amateur golfers with the opportunity to qualify for and be invited to represent their country at larger tournaments in Australia, the Asia Pacific region and at International tournaments staged by the Legends Tour (Europe) and various other events staged by the national PGA's of Europe, Australia, the USA and South Africa.
Congratulations! Udorn Duangdecha (Thailand) the Champion at the 12th ASM @ Thailand (Phuket) 2025 presented by ParTee who secured a place to represent the AST in the US$ 600k purse Vietnam Legends Championship 2026 to be staged in Ho Chih Minh in March 2026.
Udorn came in at -15 after returning 68 + 67 + 66 for a most impressive 201 during the 12th ASM @ Thailand staged at Red Mountain GC, Phuket from 16 to 19 Nov which offered a min US$ 20k purse.
Congratulations! Matthew Richardson (England) who came 2nd at the 12th ASM @ Thailand 2025 secured a place to represent the AST in the US$ 600k purse Vattanac Legends Championship 2025 Legacy Edition staged at Vattanac GR (West course), Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 26 to 28 Nov 2025
Congratulations! Roszali Baharuddin (Malaysia) the Champion at the 16th ASM @ Singapore 2025 who secured a place to represent the AST in the US$ 550k purse Vattanac Legends Championship 2025 staged at Vattanac GR (East course) from 21 to 23 Nov 2025. Roszali came in at -3 after returning 71 + 71 + 71 for 213 during the 16th ASM Singapore 2025 staged at Indah Puri GR, Batam from Mon 10 to Wed 12 Nov which offered a min US$ 20k purse.

Congratulations! Thammanoon Sriroj (Thailand) won the Fubon Senior Open 2025 coming in at -9 with 207 which was staged at Taiwan GC - Oct 29 to 31which offered a US$ 195k purse, at which numerous past AST participants and members were invited to participate and who featured in the top 20 included:

Congratulations! Thaya Limpipolpaibul (Thailand) also known Mo Lim who was the Champion 3M Open Qualifier @ Thailand 2022 presented by the ASEAN PGA which was staged at the Siam CC’s Plantation courses from Wed 29 Jun to Fri 1 Jul 2022
Mo Lim (Thailand) secured a place to play in the US$ 7.5 million purse 3M Open 2022 that was staged at TPC Twin Cities, Minnesota from 18 to 24 Jul 2022 along with the funds to enable him to get there to participate in the event and stay on to try out at the Rocket Mortgage Classic's Monday qualifier the following week.
As a result of having won the ASEAN PGA's 3M Qualifier, with the support from well wishers Mo managed to raise over US$ 50k via crowd funding which enabled him to achieve his life long dream to not only play on the PGA Tour but also to afford to stay on in the USA to try out for the Korn Ferry Tour!

Thaya Limpipolpaibul (Thailand) secured a place to play in the US$ 7.5 million purse - 3M Open 2022 to be staged at TPC Twin Cities, Minnesota from Mon 18 to Sun 24 Jul 2022 along with the funds to enable him to afford to get there to participate.
Thaya Limpipolpaibul (Thailand) led the tournament from the start with the 1 day’s best round of 66 and at 6 under he had built a 5 stroke lead over Ryoto Furuya (USA) and Mohammed Qawim Fakhri (Brunei) who both carded 71 and other early leaders in the filed including Vanchai Luangnitikul (Thailand) with 72 and Samarth Dwivedi (India) who returned 74
Day 2 saw Thaya return 64 the day’s best score putting him at 130 after day 2 further expanding his lead to 8 strokes from Ryoto who carded 71 putting him at 138. Players in the field who returned commendable scores that day include Vanchai and Samarth with 70
Going into the final day Mo the 25-year-old Thai national from Chiang Mai, started with a commanding 8 stroke lead over the field, with the top ten including....

There was excitement at the turn as Ryoto had managed to claw his way back into contention lying at 3 under having narrowed the gap to 5 after 9 holes, with Mo at level par, Vanchai and Qawim at +1
Mo ground it out over the back 9 shooting 35 and whilst Ryoto held his own matching Mo hole for hole, until a bogey on the 14th sealed his fate.
