Asian Amateur Golfer
Asian Amateur Golfer (AAG) was established to cater to the increasing demand from amateur golfers who wish to participate in Pro-Ams staged during our various Asian Seniors Tour (AST) and ASEAN PGA tournaments and who also desire to play social golf at some of most prestigious golf courses in the ASEAN and the Asia Pacific region.
The AAG offers golfers the opportunity to play in golfing events to be staged by the ASEAN Tour at some of the best courses in the 10 ASEAN member nations comprising Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Amateur Player - categories / division - amateur golfers can;
- qualify to join the ASEAN PGA and or AST
- play for the prize pool funds
- retain their amateur status
The purse for each Amateur division is based on the number of participants
Men's AMATEUR OPEN Division - no restriction to age
Seniors Division Men aged 50+
Super Seniors Men aged 65+
Veterans Men aged 70+
Ladies Open Division - no restriction to age
Ladies Evergreen - aged 50+

Amateur golfers wishing to participate in the Pro-Ams and or play in the tournaments are most welcome and can also elect to undergo the qualifying school, and having passed and joined they can then play in our pro tournaments for prize money whilst still retaining their amateur status...
